Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The Eastern Hanover Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Fund Drive for 2024 has begun. We are wrapping up our 56th year serving the community. We would like to thank those of you who have been so generous to our department in the past. The officers and members of the fire department could not provide the fire protection and EMS services that we do without your support. Our department continues to experience expenses to train our volunteers and maintain our corporate building, which has been a vital part of the community for over 50 years. Without your continued support we would not be able to continue to operate and reach our goals.
We have adapted to many changes and one of the biggest is a call volume from less that 100 calls a year to over 2,000 calls in 2023 With the continued growth in our county our call volumes are growing as well.
With your donations we were able to upgrade both our Engine and Utility vehicle with LED Lighting. This provides a much higher level of lighting for driving and on scene incident lighting. We also purchased Rescue 42 Struts to help in emergency calls requiring vehicle stabilization to protect both victims and emergency providers.
Our volunteers are men and women from our community. They give their all to protect livesand property within our community.

The volunteers cannot do it alone! In order for our volunteers to be safe and efficient they need excellent training, tools and equipment. That is why we ask for your support each year.
