Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The Eastern Hanover Volunteer Fire Department's Annual Fund Dive for 2025 has begun. We are wrapping up our 58th year of service to the community. We would like to thank everyone who have been so kind to our department in the past. The officers and members of the fire department could not provide the fire protection and EMS services that we do without your support. Our department, like all other businesses, experiences expenses to train our volunteers and maintain our corporate building. Without your support we would not be able to continue to operate and reach our goals. Our station is now independently staffed so the ambulance and fire engine are both staffed 24 hours a day.
We have adapted to many changes and one of the biggest is a call volume from less that 100 calls a year to over 2,000 calls in 2025 With the continued growth in our county our call volumes are growing as well.
With your donations we were able to upgrade power equipment on our engine and first responder unit. We also purchased an additional 3 AED’s that have been placed at various locations in our district. Thank you for your continued support.
Our volunteers are men and women from our community. They give their all to protect lives and property within our community.

The volunteers cannot do it alone! In order for our volunteers to be safe and efficient they need excellent training, tools and equipment. That is why we ask for your support each year.

Being a volunteer is a neighbor helping a neighbor philosophy that has served our community for many years. This year has been very challenging again with the pandemic, preventing us from doing various fundraising events.
